Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, the Chief Advisor and one of the artists of the festival, will have to go to India to receive the Padmashree award from the President of India. The award ceremony in India is on March 16 – the date our festival was originally scheduled. Because of this we had to change the festival date to March 23. Ashavari is completely aware of the inconvenience this change of date might have caused to everyone and is committed to help and resolve any question you might have. This is a circumstance we had no control over and we sincerely hope to receive your continued support.
